Lipoid Kosmetik AG has appointed an Only Representative
  • Lipoid Kosmetik AG is based outside the EU and hence cannot directly take over the role of a manufacturer as defined within the scope of REACH. To provide our customers with the best possible service, we have appointed therefore an Only Representative, who performs our obligations according to the REACH Regulation. This is our subsidiary in Germany: Lipoid Kosmetik GmbH, Ritterstrasse 42, 47228 Duisburg, Germany.
  • All the necessary pre-registrations have been completed within the set deadline. If the need arises, late pre-registrations will be done according to Art. 28 based on the ongoing monitoring of substance volumes.
  • Necessary registrations will be done in time by our Only Representative.
  • Together with our suppliers we ensure that only substances meeting the requirements of REACH are used.

GHS / CLP
On the base of GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals) a standardized global system for the communication of hazard is to be created for improving the protection of human health and the environment. The implementation in the EU is done through the CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Chemicals) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.

The new GHS / CLP labelling is mandatory for substances starting from 01.12.2010 and for mixtures from 01.06.2015. Thus the re-classification will be fully implemented by June 2015. Any changed classification will be communicated by the mean of the safety data sheet.

All the relevant substances have been notified by our Only Representative (REACH).
