Dissolving a phospholipid in a proper solvent might be sometimes a time-consuming production step. To make it easier and faster for our customers we developed liquid phospholipids, called PHOSAL®.
We are proud to introduce the PHOSAL® 40 IP. It is one example of the PHOSAL family and contains 40 % non-GMO unsaturated phosphatidylcholine dissolved in organic sunflower seed oil. This unique composition results in a clear, light brown, oily solution that can easily be incorporated into all kinds of leave-on and rinse-off products. PHOSAL® 40 IP is ready for dissolving a lipophilic cosmetic active and incorporation into the final formulation. Its great stability as well as solubility properties enable the combination with a wide range of lipophilic actives, oils and botanical extracts.
On the one hand, the utilized unsaturated phospholipids of PHOSAL® 40 IP improve the formulation stability; on the other hand, they act as mediators for an increased skin penetration. Liquid phosphatidylcholine is available with different lipophilic carriers such as medium chain triglycerides or safflower oil (further information is available in our current product catalog). The versatility of the PHOSAL® family gives our customers the opportunity to stay flexible in the product development.
PHOSAL® 40 IP can be combined with a wide range of lipophilic actives such as vitamin A, vitamin E, coenzyme Q10 or bisabolol.
