In the last decades many different carrier systems for lipophilic cosmetic actives have been developed. An advanced carrier system for cosmetic formulations should be easy-to-use, increase the solubility of the lipophilic active with low concentrations of emulsifiers and lead to an enhanced penetration into the skin. Additionally, it should exhibit an excellent tolerability and avoid synthetic ingredients such as preservatives. Our PhytoSolve®-technology meets all these requirements. It is a ready-to-use globular carrier system for the development of skin care products with lipophilic actives.
The PhytoSolve® principle is natural penetration enhancement of lipophilic actives by means of a matrix of glycerol/water and unsaturated phospholipids. This unique composition results in a transparent emulsion with characteristically small droplets around 100 nm. The PhytoSolve® family offers a wide range of already incorporated and dissolved attractive cosmetic actives like vitamin A, coenzyme Q10 and vitamin E (further information is available in our current product catalog). PhytoSolve® is mixable with water in any ratio and the high content of dissolved active permits any desired dosing.
Due to their low content of water our PhytoSolve® products do not require any preservatives. On the one hand, the utilized unsaturated phospholipids provide formulation stability; on the other hand, they act as mediators for a naturally increased skin penetration. Complemented by finest droplets that increase the contact area between skin and cosmetic active, PhytoSolve® is an effective globular carrier system for a deep penetration.
